AROMA A100

In the ever-changing HiFi market, the AROMA A100 doesn't follow the trend or rest on the achievements of its predecessor. The concept improves upon and transcends the success of the AROMA A10. The AROMA A100 will once again use its strength to make waves in the field of portable amps.

In order to match the popular portable players, the A100 is equipped with a 2.5mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended input line to accommodate different players. It features three output options, including a 2.5mm single-ended, 3.5mm single-ended, and 4.4mm balanced single-ended integrated outlet, enabling the A100 to adapt to the needs of different users.

Circuit Design

AROMA A100 is divided into two main sections: the power supply unit and amplifying unit. Power supply is the mother of sound, and the power circuit of the AROMA A100 occupies about two-thirds of its space. Internal use of model 26650 battery with ultra-low internal resistance (replaceable), step-up circuit using high-power MOS tube and inductor, the switching frequency of 600KHz boost to get å± 15V. After two CL filter circuits, two 4700uF ultra low-impedance electrolytic capacitors are entered to provide high-quality power for the entire machine. One channel of å±15V is powered by the ultra-low ripple precision LDO for each cell IC, and the other å±15V directly supplies power to the triode discrete stage circuit. The AROMA A100's pre-amplifier circuit continues A10's classic design, with two-stage inverting amplifying circuits that functionally add balanced signal inputs. The rear stage amplifier is a four-channel amplifier circuit composed of a discrete transistor circuit, four pairs of middle power transistors, and a number of precision components, providing a delicate and powerful output for the headphones.

Why is the A100 not fully balanced?

A fully balanced design would make power consumption increase dramatically. This would require the use of four dual op amps, which would occupy a lot of space. There would also be no space to convert to using eight single op amps. The use of a fully-balanced design would reduce the space and power supply of the post-amplifier circuit and greatly reduce performance and portability. Additionally, fully balanced amps cannot connect to many popular DAPs on the market. The design of the A100 optimizes performance without compromising on portability or compatibility.
