DIGITAL / ANALOGUE ISOLATION

The TERMINATOR 15th features complete isolation between the Digital Processing Board and R-2R ladder network arrays. Physically linked by the OCXO module, this design minimises noise and enhances the signal-to-noise ratio.

OVEN-CONTROLLED CRYSTAL OSCILLATORS – OCXO

Equipped with dual OCXOs at 45.1584 MHz and 49.152 MHz, the TERMINATOR 15th ensures ultra-low phase noise and exceptional accuracy. These OCXOs are housed in a metal casing and powered by a specially designed, shielded power supply for optimal stability.

ADAPTIVE FIFO BUFFER RECLOCKING

The adaptive FIFO buffer stores digital audio data, which is read using the ultra-low phase noise OCXOs. This data is converted to analogue signals by true balanced R-2R ladder network arrays, with high-precision resistors ensuring linearity.

HIGH PRECISION OCXO CLOCK-OUT

The Terminator 15th features a high-precision OCXO clock-out, designed to synchronise with various audio frequencies. This precision component supports:

Audio Frequencies: 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz

Clock Frequencies: 22.5792 MHz, 24.576 MHz, 45.1584 MHz, 49.152 MHz
